PART TIME KITCHEN ASSISTANT
Cure & Pickle is an artisan deli that specialises in small batch cold cuts and pickles. We sell our products online directly to consumers and wholesale, to reputable bars and restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City. Working by hand, the part time Kitchen Assistant will be pickling seasonal produce, curing meat, mixing sausages, stuffing salumi, brining hams, plus preparing orders for delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Washing and preparing vegetables for pickling
Sterilising jars and labelling our finished pickled products
Slicing, portioning & packaging our cold cuts
Cooking hams, pates, and rillettes, plus some vegetables
Assisting with weekly meat production (currently Saturday)
Cleaning workstations and equipment before and after use
Assisting with deliveries to our customers
Supporting for monthly/bi monthly events and Pop Ups dinners (usually Friday/Saturday evenings)
Your Qualities
You must have an eye for consistency and quality. Be proactive and able to follow precise quantities and instructions in English. As we are a small business, tasks and priorities may change, therefore we need someone who can adapt quickly. This position involves a lot of work with raw meat. Prior kitchen or butchering experience is preferable but not required as on-the-job training is provided.
Hours
Typically 10-15 hours per week depending on our production schedule.
Cold cut production currently on Saturdays
Events and Pop Ups usually monthly/bi monthly on Friday and Saturday evenings
More hours may be offered during high season (November - March)
This is subject to change, and we can be flexible with shift times / days.
Workspace
We have a cool, bright, and relaxed kitchen space in Da Kao, district 1
Salary
Starting at 25-30k per hour depending on experience + year bonus + product allowance

The potential to grow to a full-time position.
Team
On a day to day basis, you will be working with our Junior Production Supervisor and Operations Assistant.
